Dhuandhil was developed in partnership with Khoj Studios as a game to engage diverse audiences in conversations around the AQI and highlight the complex choices that need to me made when conceptualising a a pollution-free city.

DhuaanDil is a physical game that enables more informed considerations for sustainability planning by modeling the interactions between different factors affecting air quality.

Participants play the role of urban planners who are collectively trying to build a pollution-free city. During gameplay, players engage in conversations about AQI; navigate the dilemma of prioritising among development, economy, and the environment; and collaborate to build a physical installation representing their sustainable city. The conversations around AQI enable players to acquire the learnings and sense of ownership necessary for building sustainable cities and communities.

The game helps participants understand the complexities of air pollution and its impact on various aspects of a city.
