Triazu
Triazu was developed in partnership with Tata Power as a tool for the Andhra Pradesh State Energy Conservation Mission (APSECM) to visualise energy-saving pathways.
Triazu uses a simulation-based approach to model the target group's current energy consumption, technology use, and existing policy coverage.
Stakeholders interested in exploring better energy saving pathways can use this model to simulate different scenarios by modifying the technology status, schemes and policies, and population behaviours of the area of interest.
Using Triazu, the APSECM visualised energy-saving pathways that resulted in approximately 50% reduction in energy consumption with ROI ranging from 200-800% for the aquaculture industry in Andhra Pradesh.
